T.L.C. Rescue Inc. is a registered charity located in Hoppers Crossing Victoria, dedicated to helping both dogs and cats who find themselves in pounds, to no fault of their own. We also take in surrenders from owners who are unable to keep them for whatever reason.
Our animals are placed into foster care whilst they are getting their vet work done, and waiting for their new homes.
All dogs and cats are de-sexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated prior to going into their new homes. We do not practice the re-homing of aggressive animals.
Applications are taken to find the most suitable home for our animals.

Mission
• All companion animals have the right to have a loving home with adequate food, water, shelter and access to medical treatment. They also have the right to be part of a loving family where they feel safe and included, and not alone. •Provide homeless animals with an opportunity to be placed into loving forever homes. •Help prevent healthy, non-aggressive homeless animals from being unnecessarily euthanized in shelters and pounds and to also help prevent them from ending up at shelters. •Animals will be placed in foster care, to ensure that they are treated as family members, with specific instructions to give them the best opportunity for their futures. •All animals will have the right to medical treatment, be vet checked, vaccinated, micro-chipped and de-sexed prior to being re-homed via a screening process. •The screening process will include applications being taken, until a suitable application is found. The overall needs of the dog will be taken into consideration. •Manage financial resources effectively and with transparency as a Not for Profit organization is required to. |
Values Statement
•We will strive for excellence with a common goal, which is to do what is best for the individual re-homable animal. •Promote responsible pet ownership. •Educate the public of the advantages of adopting rather than shopping for a companion animal. •To only re-home pets that are, to the best of our knowledge, deemed re-homable and not aggressive or a threat to society. •To ensure all volunteers are treated with respect and support, and given guidelines as to our policy, procedures and expectations. |
